I’ve seen some mixed reviews here, but as someone who stays long-term with a crew, I think some people are missing the big picture. For a weekly rate around $350 after tax, you simply aren’t going to find a better deal in this area that offers this level of security and convenience. If your lady is looking for a romantic getaway, this is not for you. This is for people who are looking for a safe, clean spot without being taken to the cleaners monetarily. I’ve stayed at the Hampton Inn in Baytown, and you’re paying double the price for what—a muffin and some cereal? At places like the Hampton, they give zero care to the tools in the back of your truck. Here, you’re paying for a clean room and the peace of mind that your equipment will still be there in the morning. As a contractor, your tools are your livelihood. The owners here take security personally and monitor the parking lot at night. We’ve had tools in our truck beds for months and never had a single item stolen. They also run a very tight ship; if the owners don’t recognize a car, (and it’s at an odd hour) they will straight up meet that person at their driver’s side door. I’ve seen them tell uninvited guests "goodbye" on the spot multiple times. It keeps the drama out and ensures a quiet night’s sleep for people who actually have to get up and work. The setup is perfect for anyone needing a long stay who doesn't want to shell out $800 a week at a standard hotel. Every room has a kitchenette with a fridge and stove, and the location is incredibly convenient with grocery stores and restaurants close by. They even offer a laundry service where they will wash, dry, and fold a full week’s worth of clothes for around $20. Where else can you find that? Because it is owner-operated, they take real pride in what they do. Sure, they might occasionally miss a stray bug that died, or something may be broken due to the previous guest, but I’ve had my construction crew stay here for months and not once did any of them leave because of cleanliness. Anytime there has been an issue, we asked the front desk and it was handled immediately. If you’re a professional looking for a safe, affordable place to lay your head where the owners actually watch your back, come here.

Spacious, clean rooms and a great location. Drove in for a wedding down the road and they let us rent for day use at a very reasonable price. Rusty was great and we are very happy. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

The staff here are truly AMAZING!!! I stayed 6 weeks for a job and the location was perfect to get to the LYB plant!! The room was HUGE, CLEAN and didn't break thr bank. Thank you STAFF for all of your help and respectfulness of my daytime sleep during my stay.

Highland suites is very clean. The staff is very hospitable. It is located right next to downtown Highlands, and the atmosphere is awesome. The Rooms are very reasonably priced. If you're looking for an extended stay or just a getaway from the kids for the weekend , this is an awesome hotel. I love the fact that all the rooms have a stove refrigerator bathtub breakfast nook , it is awesome to stay here and they make you feel very welcome.

Overall pretty good hotel, mainly used for work, good staff and good location. I would suggest another entrance to the hotel though, only one way in and out to the main street, but other than that pretty good.

My husband and I stay here often. The rooms are nice and the owners are amazing!! We love it here!!

Staff is very friendly, rooms are very clean definitely will be back.
